The attached resolution authorizes an agreement with Diamond Contracting Corp. for an amount not to exceed $4,767,757.00. This project involves the installation of 20,800 linear feet of new 8” water main to replace the existing undersized 6” asbestos cement (AC) water main that is at end of useful life. This project will also install 1900 linear feet of 12" AC water main, and two (2) sanitary sewer maintenance holes. This segment is part of the annual waterline replacement program. The Arvada team recommends that City Council approve R26-016, A Resolution Authorizing an Agreement Between the City of Arvada and Diamond Contracting Corp. for the 2025 Water Main Replacement Project, Project No. 25-WA-01, in an Amount Not to Exceed $4,767,757.00.
