Accessibility statement
Progress 4 All builds for everyone. Rogata is held to the same accessibility standard as the Progress 4 All website.
Our standard
We aim for full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — from the first build, not as a retrofit. A dedicated accessibility pass (keyboard walkthrough, screen-reader testing, and a contrast audit) is scheduled before the app-store launch, and this statement will be updated with its results.
What is in place now
- Every feature works by keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline on links, buttons, filters, watch toggles, and the language selector.
- Text and interface colors meet AA contrast ratios, in both left-to-right and right-to-left layouts.
- No information is carried by color alone: statuses, recorded votes, and change flags always include text.
- Pages use semantic landmarks, ordered headings, labelled controls, and a skip link; status timelines are real data tables with captions.
- Motion is minimal and is disabled for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
- The interface is available in multiple languages (see the language selector). Bill records are always shown in their official text, labeled as such.
Known limitations
Some record content exists only in its official English: municipal records carry no translations yet, and full bill text is published only in English. State-bill titles and summaries carry labeled translations in every interface language, always shown beside the official text, which controls. If you find a barrier not listed here, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this tool is hard to use with assistive technology — or hard to use at all — contact Progress 4 All through progress4all.com. We treat accessibility reports as defects and fix them with the same priority as data errors.
