Official summary

Official text — shown in English exactly as published by the official source. The official text controls.

In November 2022, Colorado voters approved Proposition 123. Proposition 123 creates the State Affordable Housing Fund, a dedicated revenue stream for affordable housing development. Affordable housing projects seeking funding from the State Affordable Housing Fund must be in a jurisdiction that has completed a Proposition 123 Local Government Affordable Housing Commitment. The City of Arvada City Council approved an affordable housing commitment pursuant to Proposition 123 in July 2023. To remain eligible for Proposition 123 funding, jurisdictions must implement an expedited review process (Fast Track Review Process) for eligible projects. The Fast Track Review Process (1) must ensure that a final decision is rendered on an eligible project within 90 calendar days of acceptance of a complete application; (2) is not required for every development application or application type; (3) is required for housing developments or mixed-use developments that have 50 percent or more units as affordable; and (4) encourages jurisdictions to submit documentation as soon as practicable to demonstrate that policies and procedures meet the expedited review requirements. Jurisdictions must demonstrate that their Fast Track Review Processes have been implemented by December 31, 2026.

The fingerprint does not cover our retrieval date (the “Data as of” stamp in the source line): re-fetching unchanged official content produces the same fingerprint, while any change to the official content changes it.

If you recompute the fingerprint from the official source and get a different value, one of us is out of date — please report it through the corrections log.
